This was a multi-room gut renovation project, where we undertook extensive transformations to breathe new life into the space. Our focus was on maximizing functionality and enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal while respecting the historical significance of the home.One of the key changes involved converting the dining room into a stunning, brand-new kitchen. Simultaneously, we repurposed the existing small kitchen area into an extended "butler's pantry," providing additional storage and serving space.The master suite underwent a complete transformation as well. We rebuilt a new walk-in closet and master bathroom. To infuse the space with natural light and create a focal point, we added a large picture frame window that brightens the room and offers views of the surroundings.In order to enhance practicality, we repurposed the existing master bathroom and office closet, transforming them into a walk-through laundry space for the owners. This ensures ease and efficiency in their daily routines.The large living area underwent a partial conversion, with a portion becoming a new dining room, while the remainder retained its purpose as a living space. This reconfiguration allows for a seamless transition between formal dining and relaxed lounging areas.Throughout the renovation process, we paid meticulous attention to detail. We refinished all the floors, restoring their natural beauty, and we also skim coated most of the walls and ceilings to create a smooth and flawless finish. To complete the transformation, we repainted the entire first and second floors of this beautiful historic home, breathing new life into every room.
